B.Sc or Bachelor of Science is an undergraduate course that awards a degree of Bachelor in the field of science. This course forms the basis of science and comprise of subjects such as physics, chemistry, biology, etc. Most of the universities in India offer this undergraduate course and Banaras Hindu University is one of them. This course can be a part-time or full-time course. The university offers this degree every year to the students who got admission in the course and complete it with sincere effort. Moreover, every year new students are admitted for this course through BHU-UET. The duration of the course can last from 3-5 years.

Eligibility
The aspirant should have secured a minimum of 55% in class 12th from the science stream either from biology or from maths. The age of the aspirant should not be less than 18 when he/she applies for the course.

Admission Procedure
The students are given admission to the B.Sc. programme by a particular procedure every year. BHU UET is an Undergraduate Entrance Test conducted by the university for admission to various undergraduate courses offered by the university and its affiliated colleges. For the programme of B.Sc students can register for the UET in the month of February and March. The most important thing for this programme is that students must have completed his/her 10+2 with an aggregate of 50% marks and from the science stream.
The entrance exam is then conducted in the month of May/June. The students are given admission according to their scores in the test. After the results are declared of the test the counselling of the students starts according to their score and students are called accordingly. Firstly, the counselling is conducted for the main campus and then for the affiliated college. Students have to fill a preference entry form for the sake of the subject’s combination they want to study.

After the completion of the B.Sc. degree, there are various options available for the students.
