Top 10 Tips for CUCET Preparation 2021

CUCET stands for Central Universities Common Entrance Test which is conducted every year. It is a common entrance exam for 14 Central universities along with 4 state universities across India. Preparation Tips:

1. Pay more attention to Domain Knowledge

Note that 75% of the questions asked in the CUCET exam are based on domain knowledge. Hence, you should go through the CUCET syllabus of your particular subject. So that you have sufficient knowledge of your domain.

Once you are through with your domain knowledge. Only then move forward to studying Part A .i.e. English, General Awareness, etc.

 2. Practice daily

“Practice makes perfect”. CUCET has a negative marking of -0.25. Therefore, it is important to increase your accuracy. In order to do so, practice more. Once you enhance your accuracy, the chances of wrong answers lowering your score will decrease. Hence, increased accuracy will help you score higher.

3. Manage time well

CUCET requires candidates to solve 100 MCQs in just 2 hours. Hence it is important to manage your time during the exam. Recognise and work on your strengths. Because solving questions you are comfortable with first is a good way of saving time. Make sure to practice solving MCQ type questions. In order to familiarise yourself with the paper pattern.

4. Start your Preparation on Time

It is very important to start your study on time. So that you can cover your complete syllabus a few days before the exam. If you start studying early. Then, you will have some time left for revision before the exam. Otherwise, considering the vast syllabus of CUCET it can be difficult to make time for revision.

5. Previous year question paper practice
